Scope
Esports fans rarely follow just one game, but their tools force them to. Schedules, results, teams, and communities live in a separate app for every title. The brief: create a single mobile product that brings multiple competitive games under one roof, without flattening what makes each scene distinct.
Role
Sole product designer across the full 0→1 journey: discovery research, information architecture, user flows, wireframing, UI design, and a scalable design system. I partnered closely with engineering on a foundation that could grow, and with stakeholders to shape the product vision.
Timeline
2 months, from first research through to a tested, engineering-ready prototype.
The Problem
Fans of multiple titles constantly hop between official apps, Discords, bracket sites, and stat trackers just to keep up. Nothing gives them one reliable, personalised view of the games, teams, and matches they actually care about.
Approach
One system, many games
A modular design system with per-game theming lets each title feel native, while shared components keep navigation, match cards, and profiles consistent everywhere, and make adding a new game straightforward.

A fast, personal core
Onboarding asks which games you follow, then tailors the home feed to your titles, teams, and players, cutting noise and getting fans to what matters in a tap or two.

Live where it counts
The match center pulls real-time scores, brackets, and momentum into a single screen, designed to stay readable during fast-moving competitive play.
Solution
FUT Esports brings multiple competitive titles into one mobile experience: a personalised feed, a live match center, tournament brackets, and rich team and player hubs, all held together by a design system that scales as new games are added.
